Welcome to Studio V Salon & Hair Loss Clinic! We specialize in healthy hair and non-surgical hair replacement services. I'm Almatriga "A.V." Essex, your favorite Stylist and Certified Hair Loss Practitioner! Cosmetology is my passion. Hair loss and scalp issues are my specialty! With over 20 years of industry expertise, numerous publications, and accolades, I've grown to become one of the top stylists in the region.

I attended Wallace Community College Selma, where I won the WCCS hair show four times in a row and also served as a judge for their competition. Since 2012, I've been sharing my God-given talents in the city of Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas. I'm so grateful to God that I get to wake up, do work that I'm passionate about, and change lives everyday.​ Since 2018, I have been a Certified Hair Loss Practitioner, specializing in non-surgical hair replacement. When I'm not in the salon, I'm traveling, enjoying life, and educating the next generation of stylists.
